Who We Are

Ceramic Art

Ewing, NJ

I am an artist dedicated to authentic and handcrafted objects. My ideas are shaped by specific moments and precise details, finding delight in designs found from adventures in art history and traveling. My work focuses on tactile materials and process-driven methods. As an educator, I enjoy guiding others in uncovering the beauty of handmade creations and appreciating various artistic processes.

Crafted by Christians

Hanover, PA

I am a multi-disciplinary artist and art historian. My work spans relief printmaking, acrylic painting, and handcrafted gourd lamps (yes, made from real gourds!). I delight in color, pattern, texture, and the quiet wonder of everyday forms.

Watercolor Painting

Lancaster, PA

I am an artist who loves the visual language of art as it pertains to the worlds of intuition as well as iconography.  I work in paint as my primary medium, oil, acrylic and watercolor, as well as encaustic, graphite and ink.  Thematically I focus on making each piece the work of an idea and not just a work of sentiment.  This has led me to work in a combination of styles. Many of my pieces have a quiet surrealism, draw from historic religious and folk art or simply seek to delight in a deeper way.  My goal is to always require a second look since beauty is such a secluded property.

My work plays with oriental and European designs that reflect my familial roots, while some pieces express a more lighthearted, childlike side. I aim to create both functional and decorative forms that carry a sense of memory, warmth, and personality. My creative world also includes sewing and drawing, which influence the texture and soul of my ceramic practice.

Philadelphia, PA

I’m a 30 year old visual artist who enjoys listening to stories, and creating based on the lovely little surprises that I happen upon throughout my day. I’m also a K-8th grade school counselor “so I bring home a lot of popsicle sticks, stuff like that..." Truly, processing that secondary trauma with art supplies is unbelievably helpful.
